We will experience Nepalese and Sherpa culture in both Katmandu and the Khumbu Valley as we trek towards Base Camp. In Katmandu we will experience a vibrant and bustling city with the option to see the The Garden of Dreams, Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, and other historic sights. On the trek, we will be staying in locally run tea houses in mountains side villages along the route. On rest days, we will have time to explore – including time in the world-famous market town of Namche Bazaar. We will visit a Sherpa Museum, a statue of Tenzing Norguay and see Mount Everest (29,031’/8849m). The route also provides views of many of the world’s other tallest mountains. As we approach Everest Base Camp we are met with more incredible views as we reflect on the historical significance and special nature of this region.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″ icons_position=”left”][vc_empty_space height=”70px” alter_height=”none” hide_on_desktop=”” hide_on_notebook=”” hide_on_tablet=”” hide_on_mobile=””][vc_single_image image=”2393″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ hide_bg_image_on_tablet=”” hide_bg_image_on_mobile=”” icons_position=”left” css=”.vc_custom_1657889246055{margin-top: 32px !important;}”][vc_images_carousel images=”2488,2489,2490,2491,2492,2493,2494,2495,2496,2497,2498,2499″ img_size=”full” onclick=”link_no” autoplay=”yes”][/vc_column][/vc_row][/vc_section][vc_section][vc_row][vc_column icons_position=”left”][vc_separator]

Itinerary

[vc_empty_space alter_height=”none” hide_on_desktop=”” hide_on_notebook=”” hide_on_tablet=”” hide_on_mobile=””][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column icons_position=”left”][vc_tta_accordion c_icon=”” active_section=”0″][vc_tta_section title=”Day 01 – Depart Canada” tab_id=”1657823827155-5b19560d-7429″][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Day 02 – Arrive in Katmandu” tab_id=”1657825492162-188a3ab2-df94″][vc_column_text]We will get tourist visas in the airport and then meet some of our Sherpa guides at the arrivals hall.
